The University - Business - Community linkage, a key factor for high impact development.

Sustainable Development Goals Impacted

About the program:

One of the pillars of the University of Celaya is the collaboration with institutions, companies, communities and civil society organizations.

Through project-based learning, the institution ensures the effectiveness of its differentiating educational model, since academics and students actively participate with the community in addressing a social problem or need.

Because of its non-profit business vocation, the University of Celaya has strong ties with companies in the region, so each semester it promotes through the Business Linking Program (BLP), among micro, small and medium enterprises, civil society organizations and government institutions, a portfolio of 100 products and services to solve real problems as part of the teaching-learning process.

In the last 8 years, the institution has implemented more than 800 projects that have benefited more than 600 organizations in the public and private sectors, in solutions in different thematic areas: engineering, architecture, digital design, communication, marketing, nutrition, business development, logistics, international trade, gastronomy, legal guidance, psychology, application development and research.

Other linkage modalities include the Unichallenge, creative day, internationalization at home, citizen observatory, professional internships and internships.
