The gastronomic activity constitutes one of the greater income and employability sector in the country.
With exponential growth in recent years, it is one of the main generators of employment and its contribution to the National Gross Domestic Product is one of the most important.
About 5 million people are formally dedicated to this sector.
The opportunities offered by this sector will be for those professionals who are leaders and possess a strategic, creative and entrepreneurial vision; who respond to the demands of the globalization of regional and national competitiveness.

Entry Profile
Buscamos estudiantes que:
- Knowledge of high school level or equivalent, preferably in the area of social sciences and/or economic-administrative.

- He/she knows and values him/herself and approaches problems and challenges taking into account the objectives he/she is pursuing.

Perfil de egreso
At the end of the course, the graduate will have the following characteristics
- Have a wide knowledge of Mexican and international cuisine, including its history, typical dishes, culinary techniques and trends.
- Prepare creative gastronomic products applying food technology and participating in the development of products for the food industry.
- Develop healthy eating programs.
- Manage and organize, with quality and profitability, food and beverage service companies.
- Design new culinary products.
- Facilitate business growth and encourage the human capital as a key piece of the restaurant companies' development.
