To train specialists capable of arguing for the implementation of a corporate compliance system within an organization, through the identification and management of risks by developing a program that considers the formation of an organizational culture aimed at the achievement and attainment of business objectives within a framework of legal and ethical compliance in a context of prevention.

By studying the Specialty in Corporate Compliance you will develop your knowledge, skills and attitudes to analyze and examine the needs of a company to subsequently develop and implement a correct regulatory system. You will also be able to evaluate the functioning of the system and detect anomalies.

Given the need for officially valid business regulation programs, the University of Celaya offers this program in virtual mode so that people interested in working in the academic and/or practical field can develop the necessary learning from the geographic location where they are.

As a student of the University of Celaya, you will have licenses to make use of various digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Canvas, in order to take your classes and to deliver your homework and take your exams. You will also have access to our Virtual Library, where you will have access to you will be able to access large and prestigious virtual libraries such as: eLibro, ProQuest and EBSCO. Likewise, the platform has access to a database specialized in law such as Tirant Editorial, Gemba Academy which specializes in engineering and ClinicalKey with information on medicine. 

You will also be able to access the university's research portal, as well as the institutional thesis repository. Other resources you will find in our virtual library are directories, journals, links to portals for online courses, statistics and many more.

Duration

  • The Specialty in Corporate Compliance is structured in two semesters; in each one two subjects are taken during a period of 13 weeks, reaching a total of six subjects which are oriented to cover the profile of graduation and the competencies of the specialty.

This course is aimed at graduates of law, administration, international trade and related careers, those responsible for legal, financial and strategic business consulting, lawyers, economists, accountants, financiers, business compliance officers or those who perform related activities within the organization that seek to learn about and implement the management and generation of a culture of business compliance.

  • Regulatory instruments of self-management, ethics and their standards in force.

Graduate profile

At the end of the specialty in "Corporate Regulatory Compliance" the graduate:

  • Analyze the corporate legal regime at the national level in a globalized context to give certainty to the functions and responsibilities of the organization.
  • Examine the status of the elements that make up the organization based on its regulations and the achievement of its objectives to diagnose risks that impact its operability, continuity and responsibility.
  • Develop the regulatory compliance system according to the diagnosis of the risks detected in the organization to prevent and correct if necessary.
  • It will evaluate the application of the system developed based on the objectives and risks identified in order to generate added value in the preventive and corrective areas.
