When you entered Uni did you know there were international programs?
When you entered your career, did you think you would go to live and study abroad?
Have you ever lived or studied outside of Mexico before?
No, jamás.
What prompted or motivated you to study in another country?
Why did you decide to study in that country?
How did you feel when you arrived in the new country?
How have you been received at the university where you arrived?
What did you miss most about Mexico?
What about the Uni?
What is the most exciting thing you have experienced so far in this experience?
And the hardest part?
What do you expect as a person and as a professional from this program?
Do you recommend these opportunities provided by Uni to your colleagues?
Bastante.

Daniela was awarded the Uni scholarship to study a semester of her Bachelor's Degree in International Commerce at the University of Oviedo in Spain.
When you entered Uni did you know there were international programs?
Yes, since I have been studying at Uni since high school and many classmates and professors told me that it was a very good opportunity both academically and professionally.
When you entered your career, did you think you would go to live and study abroad?
From the beginning it was one of my goals to go on exchange at least halfway through my degree, the only option I had from the beginning was Spain.
Have you ever lived or studied outside of Mexico before?
No, the opportunity had not presented itself to me.
What prompted or motivated you to study in another country?
More than anything, getting to know a new culture, facing new challenges, I liked the idea of getting away from all the routine, seeing what I was capable of, since many people want to go on exchange but don't have the courage to do it, and traveling and getting to know other countries more than anything else, and best of all, meeting friends from all over the world.
Why did you decide to study in that country?
Because I have always loved Europe, I am in love with its history and the richness of its countries, plus Spain is one of the countries that most attracted my attention to know, and when I saw that there was the opportunity, I took it.
How did you feel when you arrived in the new country?
The truth is that I was quite nervous and scared, since from the beginning we had problems to close a contract with an apartment. Other than that, the truth is that I was very excited, since I was dying to make new friends and travel.
How have you been received at the university where you arrived?
Everyone has been very nice and has helped us a lot to adapt to the university system.
What will you miss most about Mexico?
The chili, they don't have chili here and the one they do have is not very hot.
What about the Uni?
To my teachers, especially Cintya Vera and Iliana, and to my classmates, who are not only friends or teachers, but I consider them as a second family.
What is the most exciting thing you have experienced so far in this experience?
Meeting many people, seeing the snow for the first time in my life and getting to know the coast of Asturias a little bit, as well as trying surfing for the first time. Traveling alone too.
And the hardest part?
Arriving without a place to live and finding an apartment, doing more complex procedures on my own, starting to manage myself both financially and personally. To be more responsible and tolerant with other people.
What do you expect as a person and as a professional from this program?
To know myself better and see what I am capable of, to learn to live with people who are totally different from me and to see that, even though we are hundreds of kilometers apart, we have so many things in common. I learned to be more patient and responsible, and that I don't have to despair even if I'm under pressure.
Do you recommend these opportunities provided by Uni to your colleagues?
Of course, I think it is a very nice opportunity that everyone should have and the truth is that you see life from another point of view, that the world is bigger than you think, and simply you yourself are a world, that thanks to Uni you can know better.
