There are more than 500 companies in the sector in the state, generating approximately 15,000 jobs and US$1 billion in annual sales.
The plastic industry generates around 223.636 jobs, there are more than 4.000 companies in the country and the consumption of plastics is 5.8 million tonnes per year.
In the coming years it will increase the demand for these products due to the entry of Maquiladoras and manufacturers of the automotive sector in the country and especially in our region.
